Sarah Dunbar is a light lyric soprano who recently studied at the Welsh International Academy of Voice. Before this she completed her masters at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. She has performed in various works, including: Too Hot to Handel at The Theatre Royal Windsor; Stravinski’s The Rakes Progress (OperaCoast 2013) and Handel’s Saul (Zezere Arts Festical 2011) Roles include: Madam Silberklang in Motzart’s The Impresario (City Opera 2012) The Magic Flute and Guillaume Tell (City Opera Chorus 2012); Spirit 2 in Massenet’s Cendrillon (Zezere Arts Festival 2011); First Touriere in Suor Angelica (Zezere Arts Festival 2014); Despina and Susanna (Mmus Opera Scenes). Sarah was proud to play Cleopatra in the UK world premier of Hasse's Marc Antonio e Cleopatra with Woodhouse Opera. Sarah also regularly performs at corporate events; one of her most notable events being Ideal Home Show in Earls Court Exhibition Centre where she performed to thousands. She is also creative director of A La Canto, a performing arts company that provides performances across the UK. Sarah is proud to be a performer with Lost Chord and performs regularly with male voice choirs. She recently performed Belinda in Dido and Aeneas for National Trust Dyffryn Gardens and had various roles in l'incoronazione di Poppea with Barefoot Opera. Sarah was proud to be in the chorus for Longborough Festival Opera's Der Fliegende Holländer. Other note-worthy performances include guest soprano with Garndiffaith Gleenmen Male Voice Choir November 2019 and soprano soloist for Brahms Requiem in Holy Trinity Church in Stratford Upon Avon on 15th June 2019.
